Palem Shri Narasimha Swamy Kshetram - Palem in Nalgonda Dist

This is the picture taken in front of the temple. Myself, my wife Sow Padmavathy; Shri Srinivasa Rao and his wife Sow Kavita; Shri Narasimham and his wife Sow Satya Lakshmi and their only son Chi Sai Mohan; Shri Parimi Seetarama Sastry; Shri Varanasi Narayana Rao visited the Holy Place on 11th of January 2009 . It was a Full moon day and a Sunday. We heard about this 17th Centurey shrine and it was our desire to take the blessings of the Lord and we are fortunate to have been blessed with the darshan in Dhanur Maasam and that too on a Full Moon day associated with Sunday. The place is around 120 kilometers from Hyderabad and upto Nakarikal on Vijayawada Highway to a distance of 110 kilometers and another 10 kilometers a little interior. According the History of the place, the Holy Shrine was found in excavations as per the directions of Lord in the dreams of a devotee. What is unique in the temple is Lord Garuda sitting on the Dhwaja Stamba which can not be seen elsewhere. It is believed that those who have desires to visit the shrine and get the sacred thread tied to the hand while praying the Lord for fulfillment of the desires and it is strongly believed that the desires gets fulfilled in the shortest possible time. As such the Shrine is named as Kankana Shri Nrisimha Swamy.

This is the Idol of the Holy Nag - the Snake and some one from USA appears to have constructed this beneath Aswatha and Neem trees.

This is the front view of the temple after entering into the complex.

This is Garuda - the Holy Eagle Bird - the Vehicle of Lord Vishnu sitting on the Dhwaja Stamba.
